The Electro Polisher is responsible for carrying out
electrochemical polishing
on gold, silver, brass, or other metal jewellery components. The role ensures a smooth, bright, and uniform finish before final polish or plating by operating electro-polishing machines and maintaining chemical baths safely and accurately.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Basic knowledge of electro-polishing and cleaning process.
Understanding of common jewellery metals (gold, silver, copper, brass, etc.).
Ability to maintain correct chemical levels and machine settings.
Ability to identify polishing defects and fix them.
Basic safety awareness while handling chemicals.
Good attention to detail and quality.
Ability to follow instructions (SOPs) and keep simple records.
