Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to manage installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within a gems and jewellery manufacturing/retail environment. The role requires strong technical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to support uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in the gems and jewellery industry
Diagnose electrical faults and perform timely and effective repairs
Conduct routine maintenance, safety inspections, and preventive checks
Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and technical blueprints
Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and company standards
Maintain electrical tools and equipment in proper working condition
Coordinate with production teams, supervisors, and maintenance staff
Support uninterrupted power supply and equipment functioning
Requirements
ITI / Diploma in Electrical or equivalent technical qualification
Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician
Experience in manufacturing or jewellery industry preferred
Strong knowledge of wiring systems, electrical panels, circuit boards, and testing equipment
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physically fit and able to work on-site
