We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Electrician

to join our hospital's maintenance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical systems, with hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting and repair of electrical components and air conditioning (AC) systems. .

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs of all electrical systems including wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, switches and sockets. Install and maintain electrical panels, UPS systems, generators and hospital-specific electrical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair faults in air conditioning (AC) systems, including split ACs, central AC units and HVAC systems. Monitor and maintain hospital power backup systems (DG sets, inverters). Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital protocols. Respond promptly to maintenance requests or breakdowns, especially in critical care areas (ICU, OT, Emergency). Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and inspections. Assist in energy-saving initiatives and efficient power usage. Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repair or AMC services when required.

Key Requirements:

Education:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical or relevant technical qualification.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance; at least 1-2 years in a hospital or healthcare facility preferred.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety codes, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with AC units and HVAC systems. Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Other Skills:

Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and emergencies. Physically fit and able to work under pressure. Good communication and coordination skills.
