Job Description

The Electrician & Welder is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and metal structures throughout the resort. This dual-role position ensures that both electrical infrastructure and fabricated metal components (such as gates, handrails, and structural supports) are safe, functional, and in good working order. The role requires strong technical skills in both electrical and welding disciplines, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Duties:

Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control panels, lighting systems, and other resort electrical equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to reduce downtime. Maintain and repair power backup systems such as generators and UPS. Troubleshoot electrical issues in guest rooms, public areas, and service spaces. Ensure all electrical work complies with safety codes and resort standards. Assist with energy conservation initiatives and upgrade projects.

Welding/Fabrication Duties:

Perform welding tasks including MIG, TIG, arc, and gas welding as required. Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures such as handrails, gates, support frames, and furniture components. Repair broken or damaged metal parts and fittings throughout the resort. Carry out preventive maintenance on resort infrastructure and fixtures requiring welding or metal work. Follow proper safety procedures for hot work and ensure fire protection measures are in place during welding.
