Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or code violations Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes Perform routine maintenance and preventative inspections Communicate with clients, contractors, or supervisors about project needs Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an electrician apprenticeship or vocational training Valid electrician license or certification (as required by location) Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures Ability to read technical documents and blueprints Physical ability to lift equipment and work in confined or elevated spaces
