Job Description

Qualification Required - ITI or Diploma Electrical with 5-10 yrs Industrial Electrical Maintenance Experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation:

Installing electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, and control panels, according to blueprints and schematics.

Maintenance:

Conducting regular inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical issues to minimize downtime.

Repair:

Diagnosing and repairing faulty electrical components and systems, including motors, transformers, and control systems.

Troubleshooting:

Identifying and resolving electrical problems using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.

Safety:

Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, including those related to working with high-voltage equipment.

Documentation:

Maintaining records of maintenance and repair work.

Collaboration:

Working with other tradespeople, engineers, and maintenance staff on projects and problem-solving.
Specific tasks may include:

Measuring, cutting, and installing wiring and conduit. Installing and programming electrical equipment, including PLCs. Interpreting PLC ladder logic programs. Working with high-voltage equipment, control systems, and industrial machinery. Performing electrical work ranging from simple to complex tasks. Evaluating project plans and specifications. Completing necessary paperwork, including permits and inspection reports.
Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of electrical theory, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting techniques.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.

Thorough knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
