Job Description

Job Summary:

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies. The role requires diagnosing electrical issues, replacing faulty components, and ensuring minimal downtime of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, lighting, and control systems. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults using appropriate testing devices. Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and safety regulations. Coordinate with other departments during machine installations or upgrades. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and power failures. Assist in energy-saving and electrical safety initiatives. Follow company safety protocols and use PPE as required.

Required Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. Fresher or Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Electrician in industrial or commercial settings. Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and electrical code requirements. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces.
