Job Description

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Set up lighting systems, switchboards, circuit breakers, and control panels. Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical systems and equipment. Diagnose electrical issues and repair or replace faulty wiring, circuits, or components. Test electrical systems for continuity, voltage, and current to ensure proper operation. Inspect and identify potential electrical hazards to ensure compliance with safety standards. Follow national and local electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures. Use proper protective equipment (PPE) while working. Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Understand wiring layouts and system specifications. Suggest and implement energy-saving measures and modern electrical solutions. Work with engineers, supervisors, and construction teams to complete projects on time. Maintain clear communication with clients and report job progress. Keep accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities. Prepare service reports and inventory usage logs.
