Perform regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and reduce downtime.
Diagnose electrical faults accurately and troubleshoot issues in machinery and plant electrical installations.
Handle prompt and effective breakdown repairs to minimize production stoppages.
Execute new electrical fittings, installations, and wiring for machinery, control panels, and plant infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and maintain clean, organized workspaces.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to support equipment upgrades and modifications.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, faults, and repairs for audit and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Proven expertise in industrial electrical wiring for both single-phase and three-phase systems, particularly within manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with induction motor maintenance, testing, and repair.
Experience handling HT (High Tension) electrical wiring and safety protocols.
Minimum ITI certification in Electrical or equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years of experience working as an electrician in a manufacturing plant, preferably in automotive or related industrial sectors.
Sound understanding of electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and control systems.
Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes and machinery would be an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.
Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.
