Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician/Technician to join our team for the installation and maintenance of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical wiring, installation, troubleshooting, and safety compliance related to EV infrastructure or similar systems. --- Key Responsibilities: Install EV charging stations (AC & DC) at residential, commercial, and public sites. Conduct site surveys and assess electrical load requirements. Perform electrical wiring, conduit laying, earthing, and connections as per project specifications. Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards. Coordinate with civil work teams and utility providers as required. Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate installation records and documentation. Provide customer support for basic operational training and issue resolution. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as scheduled. --- Requirements: ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical trade. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in electrical installations; EV charging experience preferred. Valid Electrician License (as per state regulation). Strong understanding of single-phase and three-phase wiring, earthing systems, and load balancing. Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals. Familiarity with tools like multimeters, drilling machines, and conduit benders. Willingness to travel to multiple project sites. Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE usage. --- Preferred Skills: Experience with EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) installation. Basic knowledge of networking (Wi-Fi, SIM, OCPP, etc.) for smart chargers.
