Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Solar Electrical Technician responsible for the installation, wiring, testing, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The role involves DC and AC electrical work, system commissioning, and ensuring compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, route, and terminate

DC and AC wiring

for solar PV systems (rooftop and ground-mounted). Connect solar panels, inverters, combiner boxes, junction boxes, batteries, and distribution boards. Perform

earthing/grounding

, surge protection, and lightning protection as per standards. Read and interpret

electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and layout plans

. Test, troubleshoot, and commission solar PV systems. Identify and resolve wiring faults, insulation issues, and inverter errors. Ensure all work complies with

local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards

. Maintain tools, testing equipment, and ensure proper use of PPE. Coordinate with installation teams, engineers, and project supervisors. Complete installation reports, testing records, and maintenance logs. Support operation and maintenance (O&M) activities when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Licensed Electrician (preferred, as per local regulations). 1-3 years of experience in

solar PV electrical installations

(or relevant electrical work). Good knowledge of
