An Electrician (SID) job involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, focusing on industrial settings like Sponge Iron (SID) plants, requiring skills in reading blueprints, troubleshooting faults (motors, VFDs, HT/LT systems), ensuring code compliance, and performing preventive maintenance for safe, efficient power distribution. Key duties include system installation, diagnosing issues with testing devices, repairing/replacing components, adhering to strict safety standards, and keeping detailed logs.

• Installation: Wire and install electrical systems, conduits, lighting, and control panels per technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on motors, generators, VFDs, and other equipment.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose electrical faults, repair or replace faulty wiring, components, and equipment.
• Compliance: Ensure all work meets national and local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Safety: Identify and mitigate electrical hazards, prioritizing safe work practices.
