Job Description

Installation

: Setting up and connecting wiring, conduits, lighting, outlets, and control systems for new constructions or renovations.

Maintenance & Repair:

Inspecting, troubleshooting, and fixing faulty electrical components like circuit breakers, transformers, motors, and switches.

Blueprint Interpretation:

Reading and understanding complex electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.

Safety Compliance:

Following strict safety protocols (like OSHA) and adhering to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).

Testing & Diagnostics:

Using testing devices (multimeters, thermal imagers) to identify problems and ensure systems function safely and efficiently.

System Modernization:

Upgrading or replacing outdated electrical systems, incorporating smart home/building controls.

Documentation:

Keeping records of repairs, installations, and maintenance performed.

Essential Skills & Tools

Skills:

Problem-solving, technical understanding, physical dexterity, good communication.

Tools:

Hand tools, power tools, multimeters, conduit benders, specialized diagnostic equipment.
