Job Description

A full-time on-site residential electrician is required at the school. Accommodation and food will be provided on campus.

Responsibilities

Installation:

Install electrical systems, wiring, control systems, lighting, and fixtures according to blueprints and technical diagrams.

Maintenance and Repair:

Maintain and repair existing electrical components, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and other equipment.

Troubleshooting:

Identify electrical problems using diagnostic tools and repair or replace faulty parts and equipment.

Inspection and Safety:

Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper function and compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Planning:

Plan electrical systems and coordinate with other contractors to complete projects on schedule.

Documentation:

Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.

Skills and qualifications

Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Knowledge of electrical theory, materials, and equipment. Experience using a variety of hand and power tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Understanding of electrical codes and safety procedures. Completion of an apprenticeship program and passing a licensing exam are often required.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
