Job Description

:

Inspect, test, and maintain electrical wiring, switchboards, and outlets. Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical care units (ICU, OR, ER). Regularly test backup power systems (generators and UPS systems) Install new electrical systems, lighting, and medical equipment wiring. Ensure installations comply with health and safety codes and standards. Respond quickly to electrical failures or outages. Repair faults to minimize downtime and ensure patient safety. Work during power outages to restore essential services immediately. Keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations. Participate in audits and compliance checks. Replace worn or outdated components before failure occurs. Prevent electrical hazards by identifying risks and applying mitigation steps.
