Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment. Diagnose electrical malfunctions and recommend and implement corrective solutions. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment serviced. Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide quick, effective resolutions. Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot complex issues. Keep tools and equipment in good working order and report any faults or required replacements. Provide input into system upgrades and improvements for efficiency and safety.

Skills

Proven experience as an Electrician or Maintenance Technician (typically 3-5 years). Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment. Familiarity with safety protocols and electrical codes (e.g., NEC or local equivalents). Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and heights when required. Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment or parts. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Flexible with working hours and on-call responsibilities.

Preferred

:

- Valid electrician's license or certification (if required in your region)

- Experience with PLCs, motor controls, and industrial automation is a plus.
