Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, and panels. Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical areas such as ICU, OT, Emergency, and wards. Operate and maintain DG sets, UPS systems, stabilizers, and emergency power backups. Attend electrical breakdowns on priority, especially in patient care areas. Conduct routine preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety across hospital premises. Maintain electrical load records and ensure balanced power distribution. Coordinate with vendors for repairs, AMC work, and statutory inspections. Follow hospital safety protocols and electrical safety regulations. Maintain logbooks, maintenance records, and daily activity reports. Support NABH other hospital accreditation requirements.
