Job Description

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and control systems. Diagnose electrical problems using diagrams, blueprints, testing devices, and hand tools. Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on factory equipment. Work with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and automation systems. Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent. Assist in the installation of new machinery or equipment. Troubleshoot issues in high-voltage and low-voltage systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid electrician license or certification (as per local regulations). 3+ years of experience as an electrician, preferably in an industrial or factory environment. Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Basic computer skills for logging maintenance reports.
