This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities: 1. Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment such as switches, circuit breakers, and lighting systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Replace or repair faulty electrical components, wiring, or fixtures to minimize downtime and ensure guest safety.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prolong the lifespan of electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Identify the root cause of electrical problems and develop effective solutions to resolve them promptly.
- Respond to emergency electrical issues and provide timely repairs to minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
- Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards when performing electrical work.
- Ensure all electrical installations and repairs meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment inventory.
- Conduct periodic safety inspections to identify and address potential electrical hazards.
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
