Job Purpose:

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards. This includes working on wiring, lighting, control panels, and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment. Diagnose electrical issues and perform repairs or replacements as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams. Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, circuit testers). Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies. Maintain records of electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Assist in planning electrical installations and upgrades. Respond to emergency electrical calls and perform troubleshooting promptly. Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, or contractors as required.
