Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, motors, control panels, and circuits associated with coke oven machinery and auxiliary systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on electrical components at the coke oven site. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, equipment, and components using appropriate testing tools and techniques. Ensure adherence to site safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies. Collaborate with mechanical and instrumentation teams during shutdowns and breakdown maintenance. Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, equipment history, and safety checklists. Report hazardous conditions, electrical risks, or potential system failures to supervisors promptly. Participate in safety drills, toolbox talks, and ongoing training sessions. Support installation and commissioning activities for new electrical systems or upgrades.

Qualifications:

Education:

ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Certification:

Valid electrical license (if required by state/local regulations).

Experience:

Minimum

3-5 years

of hands-on experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in

coke oven or heavy industrial plants

. Familiarity with high-voltage and low-voltage systems, PLCs, motors, and circuit breakers.
