Job Summary

:

The Electrician for Pharmaceutical Machinery is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and machinery in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all electrical systems, machinery, and equipment function properly and efficiently while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

:

Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting

:

Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems and pharmaceutical machinery, including motors, drives, control panels, and automated equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and system failures in production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.

Installation & Setup

:

Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machinery. Ensure proper wiring, grounding, and electrical connections for new machinery in compliance with industry standards.

Compliance & Safety

:

Adhere to safety procedures and regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, OSHA, FDA). Perform work safely in accordance with electrical safety codes and operational procedures. Participate in safety audits and contribute to ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.

Documentation & Reporting

:

Keep accurate records of maintenance work, including repairs, inspections, and parts replacement. Maintain and update maintenance logs for equipment performance and electrical systems.

Collaboration

:

Work closely with the maintenance team and operators to address electrical issues and minimize disruptions to production. Assist operators in understanding the electrical aspects of machinery and systems.

Qualifications

:

Education

:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.

Experience

:

Minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience as an electrician, preferably in industrial or pharmaceutical environments.

Skills

:

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and automation, including PLCs, motors, and control panels. Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently. Familiarity with pharmaceutical equipment and industry-specific regulations is a plus.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
