Job Description

Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, conduits, cables, DBs, switches, MCBs, lighting fixtures, and power systems. Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and site plans. Ensure proper earthing, grounding, and circuit protection as per standards. Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform corrective actions. Conduct routine inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety compliance. Support electrical work during building construction--slab, column, and wall conduit work. Install and maintain control panels, motors, and equipment as required. Assist in load calculations and proper distribution of power. Maintain daily work reports, material usage, and progress updates. Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors for smooth execution. Ensure compliance with IS standards, safety guidelines, and electrical regulations. Handle tools, testing equipment, and measurement instruments safely and efficiently.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring standards, and civil construction electrification work. Ability to diagnose electrical issues and perform repairs independently. Understanding of DB dressing, wiring, conduit installation, and termination. Knowledge of safety protocols, PPE usage, and electrical hazards. Ability to work at height, in confined spaces, and under site conditions. Good communication and teamwork skills.
