Job Description

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of

EOT (Electric Overhead Travelling) cranes

. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in

control circuits

,

limit switches

,

relays

,

contactors

, and

motors

. Carry out

control panel wiring

, modifications, and upgrades as per electrical drawings. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and electrical schematics. Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards. ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in industrial electrical maintenance. Hands-on experience in working with

EOT cranes

(troubleshooting hoist, trolley, bridge circuits). Strong understanding of

control wiring

and interpreting electrical schematics. Familiarity with PLCs and basic automation (added advantage). Knowledge of safety procedures in handling electrical systems. Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies quickly.
