Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in a commercial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage and logic controllers, as well as the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Maintenance Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. Install new electrical systems and equipment in accordance with NEC standards. Renovate existing electrical installations as needed to improve functionality or safety. Collaborate with other maintenance staff to address facility-wide issues. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a commercial electrician or in a similar maintenance role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, high voltage applications, and logic controllers. Proficiency in using voltmeters, ohmmeters, hand tools, and power tools. Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Relevant certifications or licenses are preferred but not required.
