The Electrician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting all electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures within the supermarket premises to ensure smooth daily operations and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment.
Attend to electrical breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
Install and maintain lighting systems, power circuits, switches, and sockets.
Perform preventive maintenance for refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and electrical panels.
Monitor power consumption and report abnormalities or power fluctuations.
Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and statutory regulations.
Assist in maintenance of generators, UPS, and backup power systems.
Coordinate with vendors or contractors for major electrical works when required.
Maintain records of maintenance and service activities.
Support other maintenance activities such as plumbing, air conditioning, and general repair when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
