Qualification :

ITI, Plus Two

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, control systems, lighting, and other equipment.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving electrical issues using testing devices and tools.

Code Compliance:

Following state and local building regulations, including the National Electrical Code.

Blueprint Interpretation:

Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.

Equipment Inspection:

Inspecting and testing electrical components like transformers, circuit breakers, and other devices.

Repair and Replacement:

Repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or fixtures.

Documentation:

Keeping records of repairs, modifications, and other work performed.

Training and Supervision:

Directing and training apprentices or other workers. Work closely with hospital staff to minimize disruptions to patient care. Ensure backup power system, such as generators and UPS, are functioning correctly. Respond to emergency electrical failures and power outages.
