Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out installation, operation, and maintenance of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.

Perform troubleshooting and repairs of motors, control panels, wiring, switches, MCC panels, and distribution boards.

Ensure smooth operation of electrical systems for kilns, grinding units, briquette presses, conveyors, and other plant equipment.

Conduct preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

Monitor load distribution, insulation resistance, and power quality to ensure safe operations.

Perform routine inspections, testing, and calibration of electrical circuits and protective devices.

Maintain proper records of breakdowns, repairs, and spare parts used.

Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards and statutory compliance.

Support in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.

Coordinate with the maintenance and production team to minimize downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

ITI in Electrician Trade with 1-3 years of experience in an industrial plant, preferably Lime or Cement industry.

Hands-on experience in handling single-phase and three-phase motors, starters, contactors, relays, and control panels.

Knowledge of power distribution, earthing, and electrical protection systems.

Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and circuit drawings.

Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical faults and failures.

Familiarity with VFDs, soft starters, and PLC wiring will be an added advantage.

Good knowledge of electrical safety practices and lockout-tagout procedures.

Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.

Safety awareness and adherence to industry standards.
