The Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment within the company premises. They ensure electrical safety, troubleshoot electrical issues, and perform routine inspections to keep all electrical systems functioning efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment in accordance with electrical codes and safety standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and implement effective solutions promptly. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and prevent faults. Maintain accurate records of all electrical work, inspections, and repairs. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all electrical activities. Assist in the planning and implementation of electrical upgrades or modifications. Coordinate with other maintenance staff and departments for smooth operations. Ensure all electrical tools and equipment are maintained in good condition. Respond to emergency electrical issues outside of regular working hours if required. Stay updated with the latest electrical codes, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a certified Electrician course. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems. Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, circuitry, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform installation and maintenance tasks. Valid electrician license or certification (if applicable).
