Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of

electrical systems, panels, wiring, and equipment

. Troubleshoot faults in

motors, MCC panels, control circuits, and industrial machinery

. Inspect and test electrical systems using

multimeters, clamp meters, continuity testers

, etc. Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance for

motors, compressors, furnaces, pumps, and plant machinery

. Ensure proper functioning of

lighting systems, power supply, and earthing systems

. Read and interpret

electrical drawings, SLDs, and wiring diagrams

. Ensure compliance with

safety standards and lockout-tagout procedures

. Maintain records of maintenance work and update the supervisor regularly. Assist in installation of new machines and electrical panels.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

industrial electrical systems

. Ability to identify and rectify electrical faults efficiently. Understanding of

control panels, contactors, relays, MCB/MCCB, VFDs

, etc. Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.

Qualification:

ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Any equivalent technical qualification in electrical maintenance.
