Job Description

To ensure proper maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, equipment, and utilities in compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards, safety norms, and GMP requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs of plant machinery and equipment. Install, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, control panels, lighting, and motors. Ensure uninterrupted power supply to production and utility areas. Support preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical systems. Maintain and update logbooks, checklists, and maintenance records as per SOPs. Coordinate with production, utility, and QA teams during equipment breakdowns or validations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and GMP practices during all electrical work. Report any issues or potential risks to the engineering supervisor promptly. Participate in internal and external audits related to electrical systems and plant maintenance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a

pharmaceutical / manufacturing plant

Knowledge of HT/LT systems, control panels, PLC wiring (added advantage) Understanding of electrical safety standards and GMP requirements Ability to read technical diagrams and circuit layouts Willingness to work in shifts, if required
