Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable

Electrician

to handle

new electrical installations and routine preventive and breakdown maintenance

of all electrical systems. The role requires ensuring uninterrupted power supply, safety compliance, and efficient functioning of electrical equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Installation

Carry out new electrical installations as per approved drawings and safety norms Install and maintain wiring systems, switches, sockets, DBs, panels, and fixtures Assist in electrical setup for new buildings, rooms, labs, offices, and equipment

Electrical Maintenance:

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems Attend and resolve electrical complaints promptly Maintain lighting systems, power points, fans, AC electrical connections, and panels Identify faults, repair, and replace defective components

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure electrical work complies with safety standards and statutory norms Follow lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures Report hazards, risks, or unsafe conditions immediately

Equipment & Power Management:

Monitor and maintain DG sets, UPS, stabilizers, and earthing systems Coordinate with vendors for major repairs and inspections Ensure proper load distribution and avoid overloading

Documentation & Coordination:

Maintain records of electrical maintenance and repairs Coordinate with maintenance, administration, and project teams Support electrical work during events, emergencies, and audits

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, and power systems Ability to read basic electrical drawings and schematics Fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Understanding of electrical safety practices
