Job Description

Job Purpose:

To maintain, repair, and ensure safe operation of all electrical systems, equipment, and installations in the resort, providing uninterrupted services for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Maintenance & Repair

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, panels, wiring).

Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical equipment, appliances, and fixtures.

Support installation of new electrical systems and energy-saving devices.

2. Equipment & Utility Management

Maintain electrical panels, circuit breakers, generators, UPS, and other power systems.

Ensure smooth functioning of elevators, pumps, HVAC, kitchen equipment, and guest room electricals.

Monitor and maintain backup power systems during outages.

3. Safety & Compliance

Follow electrical safety standards and resort SOPs.

Conduct routine inspections to prevent hazards.

Ensure compliance with statutory and local electrical regulations.

4. Guest & Operational Support

Respond promptly to guest service requests related to electrical issues.

Support other departments (housekeeping, F&B, spa, etc.) with electrical requirements.

5. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.

Report recurring issues, power consumption trends, and suggestions for improvements.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety practices.

Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly.

Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems (added advantage).

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualification & Experience:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Electrician (hospitality/resort/real estate preferred). Licensed/Certified Electrician as per local regulations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
