Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment Inspect electrical systems to identify faults and safety hazards Perform preventive maintenance as per schedules Attend electrical breakdowns and emergencies promptly Maintain generators, UPS, panels, and lighting systems Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations Maintain records of maintenance work and electrical logs Coordinate with engineering and other departments for repairs Ensure proper use of tools and safety equipment

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and safety consciousness

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering Valid electrician license (where required)

2-5 years

of relevant work experience

Working Conditions

Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays On-call duty for emergencies Exposure to electrical hazards (with safety measures)
