Position Overview:
The hotel electrician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems within the hotel premises. They are responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures throughout the hotel property. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Maintenance:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment such as switches, circuit breakers, and lighting systems. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Replace or repair faulty electrical components, wiring, or fixtures to minimize downtime and ensure guest safety. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prolong the lifespan of electrical systems and equipment.
2. Troubleshooting:

Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and troubleshooting techniques. Identify the root cause of electrical problems and develop effective solutions to resolve them promptly. Respond to emergency electrical issues and provide timely repairs to minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
3. Compliance and Safety:

Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards when performing electrical work. Ensure all electrical installations and repairs meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment inventory. Conduct periodic safety inspections to identify and address potential electrical hazards.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
