Electrician Apprentice

An

Electrician Apprentice

works under the supervision of a licensed electrician to learn the trade through hands-on experience and technical instruction. This role involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Installation & Repair

Assist in installing wiring, outlets, lighting systems, and circuit breakers Help troubleshoot electrical issues and perform basic repairs Support the setup of electrical panels and equipment

2. Maintenance & Safety

Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems Follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment Identify potential electrical hazards and report them to the supervising electrician

3. Tools & Equipment

Handle and maintain tools such as pliers, testers, conduit benders, and drills Transport tools and materials to job sites Help assemble, install, and secure wiring and equipment

4. Documentation

Assist in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams Maintain logs of work performed and materials used Follow company and regulatory documentation requirements

5. Training & Development

Attend classroom training (if part of an apprenticeship program) Learn and apply electrical codes (NEC or local codes) Continuously improve technical skills under supervision

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Enrollment in or willingness to join an apprenticeship program Basic understanding of electrical tools and systems (preferred but not required) Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments Valid driver's license (often required)

Pay: ?8,086.00 - ?12,000.00 per month
