Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Electrician / Wiring Technician to work on LV/MV electrical control panels, switchgear, MCC, PCC, APFC, VFD panels, and related assemblies. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in panel wiring, switchgear integration, cable termination, and adherence to electrical drawings and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform wiring, assembly, and installation of electrical control panels and switchgear as per SLD, GA drawings & wiring diagrams. Carry out cable routing, glanding, ferruling, crimping, and termination of control & power cables. Mount and assemble components like MCBs, MCCBs, ACBs, contactors, relays, meters, VFDs, PLC modules, etc. Ensure correct electrical connections, phase identification, and interlocking circuits. Conduct continuity testing, megger testing, and functional testing of panels before dispatch. Troubleshoot wiring issues and rectify electrical faults during assembly and testing. Maintain quality standards as per IEC/IS standards and company specifications. Coordinate with design, QA/QC, and production teams for timely project completion. Follow 5S, safety procedures, and proper handling of tools & equipment.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of control wiring, power wiring & industrial switchgear. Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, layouts & SLDs. Hands-on experience with crimping, ferruling, and electrical tools. Basic understanding of PLC/VFD wiring will be an added advantage. Problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Educational Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrician Trade Additional certification in industrial wiring or panel assembly preferred

Salary Range:

As per company standards / based on experience/overtime Extra
