- Maintenance Engineer / Technician

Location: [Plant Location] -KANNUR

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Key Responsibilities

? Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.

? Troubleshoot and repair issues related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the plant.

? Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

? Maintain records of all maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.

? Prepare and execute preventive maintenance plans for extrusion, washing, drying, and other plastics/recycling machinery.

? Train operators on basic machine maintenance and safe handling practices.

? Address ad-hoc maintenance requirements to ensure smooth plant operations.

? Coordinate with vendors and service providers for spare parts, repairs, and upgrades.

? Ensure compliance with safety standards and keep plant in running condition at all times.

Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical Engineering background preferred).

? Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in plastics manufacturing / recycling industry (preferred).

? Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, pumps, plumbing systems, and industrial machines.

? Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.

? Good skills in preventive maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and reporting.

? Experience in plastics extrusion, recycling, or related industries.
