The EV Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs related to Electric Vehicles, including EV technology, battery systems, charging infrastructure, diagnostics, repair, and safety protocols. The role involves training students, technicians, or corporate employees, developing training material, conducting practical workshops, and ensuring participants gain hands-on skills aligned with industry standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery
Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on EV technology, components, and systems.
Train students/technicians on EV repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Demonstrate EV tools, equipment, testing methods, and safety procedures.
Provide hands-on sessions on battery management systems (BMS), motor controllers, and charging systems.
Curriculum Development
Develop training modules, lesson plans, practical manuals, and assessments.
Update course content based on the latest EV technologies and industry trends.
Create multimedia training materials (presentations, videos, worksheets).
Technical Expertise
Teach components such as EV drivetrain, battery packs, charging stations, converters, inverters, and thermal systems.
Guide trainees in identifying and resolving EV system faults.
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and protocols.
Assessment & Reporting
Assess trainee performance through tests, assignments, and practical evaluations.
Maintain training reports, attendance, and progress documentation.
Provide feedback to improve trainee skill levels.
Coordination & Support
Maintain training labs, tools, equipment, and EV models.
Coordinate with industry partners for training requirements, projects, and internships.
Conduct seminars, workshops, and awareness sessions on EV technology.
Skills & QualificationsEducation
Diploma/B.Tech/B.E in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Certification in EV technology is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of EV architecture, battery technology, power electronics, and charging systems.
Experience with EV diagnostics tools and software.
Knowledge of safety standards related to high-voltage systems.
Training Skills
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain complex concepts in simple, practical ways.
Experience in teaching or technical training is preferred.
Other Requirements
Hands-on experience with EV systems or aftermarket EV conversions.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage workshops and handle tools safely.
Work Experience
1-5 years experience in EV technology, automobile service, technical training, or related fields.
