Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Electrical Maintenance Technician (B-License Holder)

to handle installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. The candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations while minimizing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Install, test, and commission electrical panels, motors, lighting systems, and control circuits. Diagnose and repair electrical faults in motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, and distribution systems. Ensure all electrical work complies with

local statutory requirements

and

B-License

regulations. Maintain and update maintenance logs, inspection reports, and equipment documentation. Collaborate with mechanical and instrumentation teams for integrated maintenance activities. Support production teams in minimizing downtime through quick response and effective troubleshooting. Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety procedures and use of PPE. Assist in energy-saving initiatives and suggest improvements for equipment reliability. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or upgrades.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

License:

Valid

Electrical B-License

issued by the relevant authority.

Experience:

Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in electrical maintenance within industrial, manufacturing, or facility environments. Strong knowledge of

control circuits, VFDs, PLCs, MCC panels, and power distribution systems.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and CMMS systems (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of safety standards (e.g., OSHA / local electrical safety codes).
