Job Description

Installation:

Installing and wiring electrical systems and equipment according to blueprints and specifications.

Maintenance:

Performing routine maintenance tasks, including checking wiring, circuit breakers, and electrical equipment.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, using specialized tools and equipment.

Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Testing:

Testing electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.

Calibration:

Calibrating instruments to adapt to specific client or job needs.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used. Installing new wiring, outlets, and lighting fixtures. Inspecting transformers and circuit breakers for code compliance. Repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Working with hand and power tools. Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components.

Problem-solving:

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults.

Safety Awareness:

Understanding and adhering to safety regulations and procedures.

Mechanical Aptitude:

Ability to use and maintain hand and power tools.

Attention to Detail:

Accuracy in reading blueprints, following instructions, and performing tasks.

Communication:

Ability to communicate effectively with other technicians, engineers, and clients.
