fiber optic cables
, handling and troubleshooting of
RF devices
, and the installation and servicing of
CCTV systems
. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, hands-on field experience, and the ability to deliver reliable solutions to support critical communication and security infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Fiber Optic Splicing & Networking
Perform splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables.
Operate tools such as OTDR, power meters, and fusion splicers.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fiber optic networks.
Ensure fiber routes are properly documented and meet quality standards.
RF Devices (Radio Frequency Systems)
Install, configure, and maintain RF devices such as antennas, repeaters, and wireless communication systems.
Conduct RF testing, alignment, and performance tuning.
Diagnose and repair faults in RF equipment and cabling.
Ensure compliance with industry standards for RF safety and performance.
CCTV Systems
Install, configure, and service CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and accessories.
Run and secure cabling (fiber, coax, UTP) for surveillance systems.
Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for CCTV networks.
Provide upgrades and ensure proper recording and monitoring functionality.
General Duties
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and clients for project execution.
Maintain tools, testing devices, and equipment in working order.
Prepare service reports, testing results, and system documentation.
Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/ITI/Certification in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical, or related field.
Proven experience in
fiber splicing, RF devices, and CCTV system installation/maintenance
.
Proficiency in using OTDR, fusion splicers, spectrum analyzers, and RF test equipment.
Knowledge of IP networking (LAN/WAN, IP cameras) is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to work at multiple project sites and in varying conditions.
Work Environment & Requirements
Field-based role with travel to client/project sites.
Requires working at heights, confined spaces, and outdoor environments.
Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or shifts as needed.
