Job Description

Responsibilities:



Installation:

Install electrical wiring, conduits, and fixtures for machinery, lighting, and power distribution systems. Connect electrical components to power sources and control systems. Assist in the setup and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Maintenance:

Perform regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, drives, control panels, and wiring. Inspect electrical equipment for wear, damage, and proper functioning. Lubricate and clean electrical components as required. Conduct routine electrical safety checks.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnose electrical faults in machinery and equipment using appropriate testing instruments. Repair or replace defective electrical components, such as motors, sensors, contactors, and relays. Troubleshoot issues with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and automation equipment (basic understanding may be required). Perform emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.

Blueprint Reading and Technical Diagrams:

Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals specific to industrial equipment. Ensure installations and repairs adhere to the design specifications.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, Indian Electricity Rules, and company safety protocols. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Identify and report any electrical hazards.

Documentation:

Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Update wiring diagrams and electrical documentation as needed.

Collaboration:

Work closely with maintenance mechanics, production staff, and engineers. Communicate effectively regarding electrical issues and resolutions.

Qualifications and Requirements:



ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Electrical Trade or equivalent qualification. Diploma in Electrical Engineering may be preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics for industrial machinery. Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.). Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults in motors, drives, and control systems. Basic understanding of PLC systems and industrial automation is a plus. Good physical condition and willingness to work in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
