: Electrical Panel Wiring Technician (PLC / PCC / MCC Panels )

Position:

Electrical Panel Wiring Technician

Experience:

1-5 Years (PLC Panel Wiring Experience Preferred)

Industry:

Electrical / Automation / Panel Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

wiring, assembling, and integration

of electrical control panels including

PLC Panels, MCC Panels, and PCC Panels

. Interpret and work from

electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOM

. Carry out

panel wiring, cable routing, ferruling, crimping, and termination

as per standards. Install and connect

PLC modules, relays, contactors, circuit breakers, drives (VFDs), SMPS, meters

, and all control components. Ensure correct wiring of

power circuits & control circuits

according to design. Assist in

panel testing, troubleshooting, and quality inspection

before dispatch. Conduct

continuity tests, insulation tests, and panel functional tests

. Coordinate with design engineers for any wiring or layout modifications. Maintain proper

documentation and panel identification

(labels, tags, ferrules). Follow

safety standards, electrical codes, and organizational procedures

during panel assembly. Support installation and commissioning team when required at client sites.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

PLC panel wiring

, MCC, PCC, and control panel assembly. Ability to read

electrical drawings

(AutoCAD knowledge is a plus). Good understanding of

control circuits, power distribution, protection devices

, and industrial wiring. Hands-on experience with

crimping tools, testing instruments (Multimeter, Megger)

. Basic understanding of

PLC, VFD, and industrial automation systems

. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in

Electrical

Relevant experience in

panel wiring industry

preferred.

Additional Responsibilities (Optional Based on Experience):

Assist in on-site

installation & commissioning

of panels. Support engineers in

modification, upgradation, or retrofitting

of existing panels. Provide

basic documentation

for wiring or changes made.
