Installation

: Install and set up new electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, and controls.

Maintenance

: Perform routine maintenance on existing systems to prevent problems.

Repair

: Diagnose and fix electrical problems in machinery, circuits, and other equipment.

Troubleshooting

: Identify and resolve electrical issues using specialized tools like voltmeters and ammeters.

System upgrades

: Upgrade existing electrical systems as needed.
Key duties

Reading technical documents

: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair work.

Testing and inspection

: Conduct tests and inspections on electrical components like circuit breakers and transformers to ensure they meet code and are functioning correctly.
