? A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
? In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.

? Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays and evenings.
? Effective problem-solving abilities.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Must be well- organized and can prioritize tasks.
GENERAL AND TASK MANAGEMENT
? Ensure strict adherence to all relevant local guidelines for safety and productivity.
? Install highly technical mechanical equipment according to the manufacturer's recommendations in a timely manner for an optimal production timeline that avoids lengthy periods without loss of business.
? Complete periodic maintenance of equipment and machinery by following the recommended upkeep schedule throughout the life of the devices.
? Troubleshoot common issues with equipment and assist operators with getting back to a productive mode.
? Repair machines in order to limit machinery downtime during the production calendar.
? Evaluate workspace safety on the production floor to ensure all staff is following guidelines with equipment.
? Complete a variety of tasks related to maintenance of machinery, including plumbing, electrical jobs, heating and air conditioning, structural concerns and more depending on the scope of the project.
? Maintain a clean and organized work area while completing tasks related to maintenance, repair or installation.
? Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
? Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
? Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
? Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
? Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
? Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
? Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
? Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
