Job Purpose
The Maintenance Technician / Electrician will be responsible for
end-to-end maintenance of the centre
, ensuring smooth functioning of electrical systems, infrastructure, equipment, cleanliness standards, and supervision of the housekeeping team. The role requires
high accountability, availability during emergencies, and readiness to stay overnight
whenever operational needs arise.
Key Roles & Responsibilities-
Electrical & Technical Maintenance
Carry out
electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
of:
Lighting, switches, sockets, fans
Electrical panels, wiring, power backups (inverters/UPS)
Appliances and equipment used in the centre
Perform
routine inspections
to prevent electrical faults and hazards
Ensure
electrical safety compliance
and proper usage of tools and equipment
Coordinate with external electricians/vendors for major repairs, if required
Facility & Infrastructure Maintenance
Maintain overall
centre infrastructure
, including:
Plumbing (minor repairs, leakages, fittings)
Carpentry and furniture upkeep
ACs, water heaters, RO systems, exhausts, etc.
Conduct
daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks
Maintain a
maintenance logbook
and report recurring issues to management
Ensure all areas of the centre remain
functional, safe, and presentable
Housekeeping Supervision
Supervise and manage the
housekeeping team
Allocate daily cleaning duties and ensure
timely completion
Maintain
cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards
across:
Studios/workspaces
Washrooms
Common areas
Staff rooms and storage areas
Ensure proper usage and storage of
cleaning materials and equipment
Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of housekeeping staff
Shift, Emergency & Overnight Responsibilities
Be available for
emergency maintenance support
, including after-hours
Stay overnight at the centre
when required for:
Repair work
Power or water-related emergencies
Security or operational support
Coordinate with management during urgent or unplanned situations
Administrative & Coordination Responsibilities
Coordinate with centre admin/HR for:
Maintenance schedules
Housekeeping staffing needs
Safety audits
Raise requirements for
tools, spare parts, and consumables
Ensure
cost-effective maintenance
without compromising quality
Follow company policies, safety norms, and discipline guidelines strictly
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
electrical systems and basic maintenance
Ability to
handle multiple responsibilities independently
Team supervision and basic people-management skills
High level of
discipline, responsibility, and reliability
Ability to work under pressure and during emergencies
Basic documentation and reporting skills
Qualifications & Experience
ITI / Diploma in
Electrician / Technician / Maintenance
(preferred)
Minimum
1-5 years of relevant experience
in facility maintenance
Experience in supervising housekeeping staff is an added advantage
Work Conditions

Flexible hours as per centre requirements
Willingness to
stay overnight when required
Physically fit for maintenance-related work
