Job Description

Job Summary:

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and low-voltage systems including CCTV cameras, biometric access control systems, and structured cabling. The role involves both fieldwork and technical support to ensure systems are installed and functioning efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure

CCTV systems

,

biometric access control

, and

network devices

. Perform

electrical wiring, conduit work, and cable laying

for security and IT infrastructure. Conduct

system testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance

. Ensure all electrical connections comply with

safety standards and company protocols

. Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors for proper installation layout. Maintain installation records, wiring diagrams, and equipment inventory. Diagnose faults in cables, cameras, or control panels and carry out necessary repairs. Provide

technical support

during project execution and after-sales service. Follow all

safety regulations

and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.

Requirements:

ITI / Diploma in

Electrical or Electronics Engineering

. Minimum

1-3 years of experience

in CCTV, biometric, or related electrical works. Knowledge of

LAN cabling (Cat6, Fiber), power connections, and DVR/NVR setup

. Ability to read

wiring diagrams and electrical schematics

. Willingness to travel to client sites and work in field conditions. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in

network configuration

for surveillance systems. Basic knowledge of

UPS, inverters, and electrical load management

. Understanding of

access control and alarm systems
