Assist in the installation of all electrical equipment, control panels, motors, drives, and power distribution systems.
Support commissioning activities including testing, calibration, and verification of system performance.
Work with project teams and contractors to ensure electrical systems comply with design specifications.
B. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electrical machinery and plant utilities.
Diagnose and repair faults in electrical equipment, PLC systems, MCC panels, switchgears, and instrumentation.
Perform corrective maintenance during breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.
C. Operations Support
Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities.
Assist production teams in safe equipment startup and shutdown procedures.
Ensure energy-efficient operation of electrical systems.
D. Safety & Compliance
Follow electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and plant safety policies.
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and industry standards.
Participate in safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
E. Continuous Improvement
Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
Support implementation of new technologies, automation upgrades, and energy-saving initiatives.
3. QualificationsEducation
Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
Additional certifications in PLC, VFD, or industrial automation preferred.
