Job Responsibilities

:

Operate and maintain 11?kV electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and distribution panels. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment. Troubleshoot faults in HT (High Tension) electrical circuits and perform root cause analysis. Perform cable termination, insulation testing, and jointing of 11?kV power cables. Monitor and record equipment readings such as voltage, current, and transformer oil levels. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and electrical standards as per IE rules. Support plant operations and coordinate with control room engineers during electrical outages or switching operations. Maintain records of maintenance work, breakdowns, and inventory of electrical spares.

Key Requirements

:

Qualification

: ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience

: 3-7 years working on 11?kV electrical systems or in a similar capacity

Skills

: Good knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems Familiar with protection systems (relays, breakers)

: Rotational (Day/Night as per plant requirements)
